Max-out Cost calculator

Data current as of Updated

How long does it take to max a Town Hall, and how much loot does it cost? Pick a Town Hall and this calculator adds up the Max-out Cost of every building, wall, troop, spell and siege machine in the ClashTrack catalogue: the builder time, the Laboratory time and the gold, elixir and dark elixir to take everything to that Town Hall's TH Cap.

Your village

Town Hall

“From the TH13 cap” is a fresh upgrade with everything maxed for the previous Town Hall.

Builders

Five Builder's Huts as standard; pick more if you have them.

Assumptions

  • No boosts or shortcuts: no gems, Builder or Research Potions, Books, Hammers, Builder's Apprentice, Lab Assistant or Goblin Builder. Event discounts and Gold Pass upgrade boosts are not applied.
  • Builder time assumes every builder is busy every minute, so the calendar figure is a floor. Real accounts lose time to idle builders overnight and to waiting for loot.
  • Lab research runs one upgrade at a time in a single Laboratory. A unit counts once its first research is available at that Town Hall's Laboratory level; level 1 is unlocked, not researched.
  • Walls are priced in gold as the catalogue lists them. Higher wall levels can also be paid with elixir in the game, which moves part of that total from one storage to the other.
  • Heroes, pets, hero equipment, the Town Hall itself, the Eagle Artillery and the Builder Base are not in the catalogue and are not counted. From TH16, merged Cannons and Archer Towers are counted as the merged buildings, not twice.

How to read the result

The headline number is the longer of two clocks. Your builders share the building work between them, so their total is divided by your builder count. Your Laboratory works alone, so its total is not. Whichever finishes later is the shortest time in which that Town Hall can be fully maxed without spending gems or magic items, and the line under it tells you which clock is the bottleneck. If it is the Laboratory, every hour it sits idle pushes your finish date back directly; if it is the builders, a sixth builder or a boost moves the date and extra lab speed does not.

“From the previous cap” is the figure most players actually face: the cost of a Town Hall you have just upgraded into, with your old one finished. “From level 0” is the cumulative cost of everything up to that Town Hall, which is useful for comparing accounts or seeing how much a rushed base still owes. Walls are shown on their own because they never use a builder and are usually funded from surplus rather than planned. The upgrade priority guide covers the order to spend that time in.
