Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 2026

This Privacy Policy explains what information ClashTrack ("we", "us") collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. ClashTrack is a free companion tool for the game Clash of Clans. By using ClashTrack you agree to the practices described here.

Information we collect

We keep the amount of data we collect to what the app needs to work:

  • Account details. When you register we store a username and a securely hashed password so you can sign in. We do not require an email address to use the core app.
  • Clash of Clans player tags. When you add a village, we store its public player tag so we can fetch that village's public stats from Supercell's official Clash of Clans API.
  • Village snapshots. To show your progress over time we store snapshots of publicly available game data — such as Town Hall level, building, hero and troop levels, trophies, and war/clan data — associated with the tags you track.
  • Technical data. Like most websites, our servers may log standard technical information such as IP address, browser type and pages requested, for security and to keep the service running.

Cookies and local storage

ClashTrack uses cookies and your browser's local storage to keep you signed in, remember your selected village, and store your preferences. These are essential to how the app works. Third parties, including Google, may also set cookies as described below.

Advertising and Google AdSense

ClashTrack is supported by advertising served through Google AdSense. To fund the free service, we display ads on some pages.

  • Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.
  • Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to ClashTrack and/or other sites on the Internet.
  • You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. You can also opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies at aboutads.info/choices.
  • For details on how Google uses information from sites that use its services, see How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.

Analytics

We may use privacy-conscious analytics to understand aggregate usage — for example which guides are popular — so we can improve the app. Analytics data is used in aggregate and is not used to identify you personally.

How we use your information

We use the information above to:

  • provide and maintain the ClashTrack service and your account;
  • fetch and display public Clash of Clans data for the villages you track;
  • show your progress over time;
  • keep the service secure and prevent abuse;
  • display advertising that keeps the app free.

We do not sell your personal information. Public game data is retrieved from Supercell's official Clash of Clans API and remains subject to Supercell's own terms.

Data retention and deletion

We retain your account and tracked-village data for as long as your account is active. You can remove a tracked village at any time, and you may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us.

Children's privacy

ClashTrack is not directed to children under the age required by your local law to consent to data processing, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of ClashTrack after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

Contact
